The registered members of the Tamilnadu Narikoravar Welfare Board are provided with various welfare assistance as provided to the members of the Welfare Boards for un-organized labours functioning under the administrative control of Labour and Employment Department and subsidy is also given for self-employment. For getting the assistance, the registered Members of the TamilNadu Narikoravar Welfare board have to submit the filled in applications with all the relevant documents to the District Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Officers concerned for getting the below assistance.

VALAIYAR, AMBALAKKARAR (INCLUDING SERVAI) RECONSTRUCTION BOARD
In order to implement the welfare schemes pertaining to the communities of Valaiyar, Ambalakkarar and Servai which are categorized as Denotified Communities, Government issued orders for creation of “Valaiyar, Ambalakkarar (including Servai) Reconstruction Board under the Chairmanship of Hon’ble Minister for Backward Classes. People belong to Valaiyar, Ambalakkarar (including Servai) communities who are in the age group from 18 to 60 are eligible for getting membership in the above welfare board. Identity cards are issued to the eligible registered members as per the procedures followed by other Unorganised Labour Welfare Board for issuing membership cards. All the welfare assistance would be given to the eligible registered members only. People belonging from Valaiyar,Ambalakkarar (including Servai) who are getting benefits from Government / Government under taking organizations and other welfare boards are not eligible for getting benefits under this board. People belonging from Valaiyar,Ambalakkarar (including Servai) who enrolled as members in other welfare boards as well as Valaiyar Re construction board can get benefits under any one welfare board only. Hence, People belonging from Valaiyar, Ambalakkarar (including Servai) who have registered their membership under Denotified Communities Welfare Board can avail benefits from DNC Welfare Board till they are getting membership under Valaiyar Reconstruction board.
